MagneMotion to Exhibit at MINExpo International® 2004, Las Vegas, Nevada

MagneMotion Inc. of Acton, MA today announced its participation at the MINExpo International® 2004 mining conference and exhibition in Las Vegas in September. MagneMotion will introduce a new material handling concept based on its linear synchronous motor (LSM) technology. The technology dramatically improves the efficiency of the mining process while reducing operating and maintenance costs.

MINExpo attendees will be able to witness MagneMotion’s LSM technology firsthand, demonstrated with its smaller scale industrial QuickStick™ LSM at Booth #1249. “MagneMotion’s LSM technology shows great promise for the mining industry in terms of energy savings, environmental impact, and safety”, says Jim Wieler, MagneMotion’s Vice President of Engineering, and manager of the initiative. “Significant cost benefits can be realized based on the technology we have developed.”

MINExpo International®, held by the National Mining Association every four years, is the largest mining show in North America, and is considered the world’s premier mining industry trade show.
